The Lease
The Pryors is in the process of offering lessees the chance to change to a new 999 year lease and as of October 2023 the majority of lessees have taken up the new lease. In most respects this is very similar to the existing lease but there have been some changes.
The lease is the legal contract between the flat lessee and The Pryors Ltd which owns the freehold of the land, the blocks and of the flats. This contract gives the lessee, in accordance with its terms, the right to use the flat, and sell that right to others, until the lease comes to an end.
